How to deliver engaging sessions for 7-11 year olds
CALLING ALL COACHES: join us at Sonning Common on Monday 13th April for a CPD event focusing on how to
plan and execute engaging sessions for 7-11 year olds. We will really dive into the key aspects of this age group, how we can develop their core in and out of possession skills, and some great tips
to ensure you get maximum player engagement.
The session will be a mixture of classroom and practical, helping to guide you through all the planning, delivery, and reflection elements you would experience in your weekly coaching routines with a specific focus on helping you to better engage and support the players across all 4 corners of their development. We will explore different strategies of practice design, gain insight to how it feels to be involved in our 7-11 practices, and consider how we remain agile and adaptable to the environment to ensure we hit our session intentions.
The workshop is 2.5 hours in length and you will be accredited 3 hours on your FAN for attending.

Core Skill : Finishing
CALLING ALL COACHES: join us at Sonning Common on Thursday 14th May for a CPD event focusing on the in possession core skill of finishing. We will dive into the art of putting the ball in the back of the net, understanding the technical components of the skill, exploring how the 4 corner model can be utilised to develop effective session plans, and give you some key practical tips for your own delivery.
The session will be a mixture of classroom and practical, from identifying the types of goals your players score, to developing their technique through a holistic approach.
The workshop is 2.5 hours in length and you will be accredited 3 hours on your FAN for attending.
